GET TO KNOW ME

Martina Coordes, LMHC, CMHS, MHP, MEd.

I specialize in EMDR therapy for high-achieving women navigating ADHD, trauma, and overwhelm, with a focus on creating space for real healing, relief, and self-understanding.

I bring over 20 years of experience working with children, teens, families, and couples across crisis response, inpatient psychiatric care, community mental health, substance use prevention, and school-based services.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Applied Developmental Psychology from Eastern Washington University (2001) and a Master of Education in School Counseling (2018).

My approach is warm, grounded, and collaborative. I integrate EMDR as my primary modality, along with person-centered therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I focus on helping clients process trauma, reduce overwhelm, and build more self-trust and balance in daily life.

I’m also a mom of teens, and I understand firsthand the intensity, complexity, and humor that comes with raising them. I live in the Inland Northwest and feel most at home outdoors. I also have ADHD myself, which gives me a lived understanding of many of the same challenges my clients face—like overwhelm, distraction, and the pressure to keep it all together.

Areas of specialty include trauma, ADHD, anxiety, women’s issues, adolescent development, family dynamics, depression, and major life transitions
